Day 8 – @Lights – The Geeky Musical Artist

If you haven’t heard of this amazing girl then you need to check her out on her website.

Lights is a 24 year old Canadian artist who currently has two of her own album’s out after originally writing music for others. She creates a sort of electropop music that sounds much like a combination of modern pop with a great synth sound to it. Not only does she sing and play her music but she also creates these great music videos that, most of the time, have a cool magic element to them.

Her music is fantastic, but it’s her personality that really gets me. You can find out more about that in the interview below, but also in her video blogs that she does every once in a while. She will sing acoustically her songs after she has talked about something that she just wanted to say, and it’s always fun to just listen to people like that.

I just love how she looks at things in such a great way.

Edit/Add-On that I forgot about because I was in a hurry: 
LIGHTS has an interesting collection idea that I think is amazing. Every time that she goes through what she believes to be a big part of her life she buys a knife/sword for herself. It’s an awesome idea that I am kind of jealous I didn’t think of.
